What do I do if my bank card is lost or stolen?
If your card has been lost or stolen it’s important to inform us as soon as possible. If you fail to notify us, you may be liable for any unauthorised transactions made on your account, as per the Terms and Conditions. If you believe your lost or stolen card has been used to make an unauthorised transaction you can report this to us first and we'll automatically report your card as stolen. To report your debit card as lost or stolen you can contact us directly or report it quickly through the Suncorp Bank App:
- Log into the Suncorp Bank App and tap ‘Cards’ in the menu bar.
- Choose the debit card that has been lost or stolen.
- Select ‘Report Lost or Stolen Card’ and follow the prompts.
We’ll immediately cancel your card and send a replacement to your registered address. If you think you’ve just misplaced your card and don’t want to cancel it, you can place a temporary lock on the card instead. If you still can’t find it, keep your account safe by reporting the card as lost or stolen.
To report your credit card or EFTPOS card as lost or stolen you'll need to call us on 13 11 75 or +61 7 3362 1712 if you’re overseas.
If you’re a Visa card holder that is currently overseas, you can also contact Visa using a country-specific number listed on their website.
