What should I do when a payee’s name has special characters, such as ‘, -, or &?

When you make a payment in the Suncorp Bank App or Internet Banking, only letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), apostrophes (‘), underscores (_) and hyphens (-) are permitted in the full account name field.

Names with special characters, like full stops (.), commas (,) or ampersands (&), will still match without being entered. 

For example, when entering an account name with an ampersand (&) such as Paper & Pen, it can be entered as Paper Pen.
