What we won’t do

Scammers may target Suncorp Bank customers via various contact methods, falsely claiming to be from Suncorp Bank or ANZ. They do this to try and gain access to personal information or finances, often through bank transfers or linking to fraudulent websites.

There are things you can look out for to tell if it is Suncorp Bank or ANZ contacting you.

ANZ and Suncorp Bank will never ask you to:

  • move money urgently to another account or move it to ‘keep it safe’
  • share sensitive information including passwords or PINs
  • click a link in an email or SMS about the move to ANZ, including a link to log in to your account
  • give or remove access to your computer, phone or other devices.
