Can I opt-out of Confirmation of Payee if I don’t want others to see my account name?

In some limited circumstances, individuals may request to opt-out of Confirmation of Payee.

This means your account name and match outcome will not be displayed to payers, other than to government agencies for the purposes of them making a payment to you.
