What is a PIN and how do I change my Visa debit PIN?
Your card PIN (Personal identification number) is a fraud and security measure for over-the-counter purchases, ATM and Suncorp Bank branch usage.
You can reset your PIN at a Suncorp Bank ATM, or by using the Suncorp Bank App:
- Tap ‘Cards’ in the menu bar and select your Visa Debit Card.
- Choose ‘Set Card PIN’.
- Enter the verification code sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter and verify your new PIN and you’ll see a PIN confirmed notice.
You can also update your PIN in Internet Banking:
- Log in and click ‘Manage Accounts and Cards’ from the menu.
- Click ‘Update card PIN’ next to your Visa Debit Card.
- Click ‘Send verification code’ and we’ll send an SMS to your registered mobile number. Enter the code and click ‘Verify’.
- Enter and verify your new PIN and click ‘Update PIN’.
If your mobile phone number is not registered or has recently changed, you’ll need update it via Internet Banking, or call us on 13 11 75.
