Is a Term Deposit right for you?

  • Term Deposits keep your money invested for a set period. You generally won’t be able to access your funds during that time, so consider whether you’ll need the money before the term ends.
  • Early withdrawal restrictions apply, including a 31-day notice period unless financial hardship applies. See “Breaking Your Term” in the Fixed Term Deposit Product Information Document for details.
  • Automatic reinvestment may occur at a different rate, which could be lower than your original rate. See “Standard Term Deposit – Interest” in the Fixed Term Deposit Product Information Document for details.

Feel confident knowing your return on investment is locked in

A Term Deposit allows you to lock away an amount of money at a fixed interest rate for a nominated time period.

Your return on investment is locked in – this means you’ll know exactly what your investment is worth at the end of the term. An interest adjustment will apply for early withdrawals.
