Closure of existing business credit cards  




From 12 September 2025, your Suncorp Bank Clear Options Business Credit Card account will be closed. You and any additional cardholder linked to your account will no longer be able to spend, withdraw cash or earn points on your account.

What does this mean for me?

Can I keep my Suncorp Bank Clear Options Business Credit Card account open?

No, the Suncorp Bank Clear Options Business Credit Card will no longer be available.

Will my additional cardholders cease having access to account funds at the same time?

Yes, please ensure that your additional cardholders are advised that they will no longer be able to use their credit card or access accounts funds from 12 September 2025.

Will I receive a refund for any annual fees charged?

Yes, Annual Cardholder Fees, Additional Cardholder Fees and Rewards Membership Fees charged between 12 September 2024 and 31 July 2025 will be pro-rated (to 31 July 2025) and refunded to your account by 15 August 2025. 

Can I complete a Balance Transfer of my closing balance to another credit card facility, once my card is closed?

Yes, if your other credit card provider allows for this option you will need to make arrangements with them.  

Can I access my account details after the account is closed?

When your account is closed this will be removed from the Suncorp Bank App and you will no longer have the ability to access Card Services via Internet Banking. You should ensure you have copies of your Suncorp Bank Clear Options Business Credit Card account statements saved before closure.

What do I do if I have a disputed transaction on my account?

Dispute cases can take up to a maximum of 180 days depending on the nature of the dispute and it is important for you to stay in contact with us and assist with the case until a resolution is achieved. Your card will be closed but account will remain open until the dispute is finalised. Any disputed transactions that are found to be authorised by you, will be payable by you and charged to your account.

Can I dispute a transaction on my closed account?

Yes, a dispute can still be initiated on a closed Credit Card account

How do I pay my account from 12 September 2025 if I still owe money?

You can continue making payments to your credit card through BPAY®, using the biller code 999532 and your credit card number as the reference number.

If you have an existing Direct Debit/Easi-Pay to pay your credit card this will continue.

I also have a Suncorp Bank Clear Options Personal Credit Card, will this be closed?

No, Suncorp Bank Clear Options Personal Credit Cards will be transitioned to a MyCard Credit Card. NAB as the credit provider and issuer of your Clear Options Credit Card is also the credit provider and issuer of MyCard.
