To make sure your interest payments continue smoothly, please nominate a new or existing account for your FMD account interest to be paid into before 30 June 2026.

How do I nominate an account?

Please contact your relationship manager or call us on 13 11 75 to nominate a new account or change the interest redirection account.

For new customers

FMD accounts no longer include an offset facility. We do have a range of alternative accounts that may suit your needs. Please contact your relationship manager or call us on 13 11 75 to chat through your options.

When does the offset facility removal come into effect?

All FMD offsets will be removed on 1 July 2026.  FMD accounts opened after 7 November 2025 are no longer available to offset loans. However, if you have an existing FMD account as at 7 November 2025, you may link it to an eligible Variable Rate Agribusiness Loan (“Eligible Loan”) up until 6 February 2026.

What do I need to do?

• If you don’t use the offset feature and you’ve already nominated an account, you don’t need to do anything.
• If you haven’t nominated an account yet, please do so before 30 June 2026 to avoid any disruption.

Is anything else changing?

No—apart from the removal of the offset feature, everything else about your FMD account stays the same. These changes are reflected in the updated terms and conditions, which you can find here.

Can I use a Farm Management Deposit Account to offset a loan?

The Farm Management Deposit offset facility is being withdrawn. At Call FMD accounts opened on or prior to 7 November 2025 can still be linked for offset purposes to Eligible Loans until 6 February 2026. After 6 February 2026, no FMD Offsets will be established. All Farm Management Deposit offsets will be removed from 1 July 2026. Please refer to the Product Information Disclosure.
