Suncorp Bank has announced new interest rates for home loan customers following the Reserve Bank of Australia’s decision on Tuesday, 3 November 2026.

From 13 November 2026, Suncorp Bank will increase home loan variable rates by 0.25% per annum (p.a.).

To support deposit customers, Suncorp Bank will also introduce a market leading 5.75% p.a. rate for 12-month Term Deposits, effective Friday, 6 November 2026. Suncorp Bank will continue to review other deposit rates.

Suncorp Bank CEO, Mal Stedman, acknowledges the impact the latest interest rate rise will have on household budgets amid ongoing cost of living pressures.

We know many Australians continue to feel the pressure of higher interest rates and increased living costs. We remain focused on supporting customers, helping them understand their options and connecting them with support when they need it" Mr Stedman said.
