Accounts cannot be closed in the Suncorp Bank App if:

  • You still have funds in the account.
  • You still have pending transactions.
  • Your account is held jointly and has a two-sign requirement.

If applicable, we’ll pay this interest after the relevant account is closed.

Once you've received confirmation of account closure:

  • Please destroy any cards linked to the account.
  • Your closed account will be removed from your account view in the Suncorp Bank App.
  • A final statement will be generated and issued to you.
