1. Click on 'Personalise my Card'
2. Upload a suitable image of your own, or choose from our range of images in the 'Personalised Cards Image Gallery'
3. When you're happy with your card design, click 'next' to continue
4. Agree to the Terms & Conditions
5. You'll then be given an image reference number. We'll email you a copy of all the details.
6.  From here you can either:
   • Phone us on 13 11 75 and one of our consultants will order your Personalised Card
   • Take your Image Reference Number to your nearest Suncorp Bank branch
   • Logon to Internet Banking, select 'Personalised Cards' and order your card from there

Some important notes regarding Personalised Card orders

• Once you design a personalised card and receive an image reference number, it is valid for 21 days
• It may take up to 10 business days for your card to arrive once ordered.

The following list is a guideline of images that Suncorp Bank will not accept.

• Trademarks, logos, slogans, company names, copyrighted material or brands of any third party.
• Advertising or promotional material, or branded products.
• Celebrities, actors, musicians, sportspeople, cartoons or other famous people.
• Phone numbers, addresses, URL addresses, account or PIN numbers.
• Provocative, sexual, violent or other offensive content.
• Nudity or semi nudity. Any images containing children in a state of undress will be rejected.
• Profanity or obscenities.
• Firearms, weaponry, alcohol, tobacco, drugs or other anti-social behaviour.
• Depiction of culturally insensitive images.
• Images which display political or religious beliefs.
• Libellous, defamatory or other content we deem offensive including socially unacceptable groups.
• Material that could infringe on copyright.
• Racial, prejudicial or discriminatory subject matter.
• Any image you upload or download from the internet must have consent from the image owner.

Suncorp Bank reserves the right to refuse usage of any image. In the event your image is rejected, Suncorp Bank will not provide the reasoning behind the decision or respond to requests for resubmission of images. The list above is a guide only and Suncorp Bank reserves the right to alter these guidelines without notice.

Can anyone design a Personalised Card?

Yes, whether you are already a Suncorp Bank transaction account customer, or would like to open a Suncorp Bank transaction account, you can create your Personalised Card. Our card issuing transaction accounts include the Everyday Basics Account, Everyday Options Account, 55 Plus Account and Cash Management Account.

What if I'm not a Suncorp Bank transaction account customer?

You don't have to be a Suncorp Bank transaction account customer to create your Personalised Card, just follow the directions. You can then use the Image Reference Number provided when you open your account online or at any Suncorp Bank branch.

Can my joint account holder(s) design a Personalised Card?

Yes, either owner of a joint account may apply for a Personalised Card on behalf of all account signatories. Please note: fees apply.

Do all cards on the account have the same image?

All account holders can either share the same image by using the same Image Reference Number or they can design their own Personalised Card.

How much does it cost for a Personalised Card?

A fee of $15 will apply to any approved new or replacement image applied to a card. Standard fees apply for lost, stolen or reissued cards.

This fee will be applied to your primary account linked to this card.

Once the Image Reference Number has been supplied to Suncorp Bank, the photo card order can not be cancelled and the fee cannot be refunded.

How long does my image last on my Personalised Card?

Your Personalised Card design and any replacement or re-issued cards will carry the same Personalised Card design until you advise us of a new Image Reference Number.

How long will it take for my Personalised Card to arrive?

Once your image has been accepted, your Suncorp Bank Personalised Card will be sent to you within ten business days.

How often can I change the image on my Personalised Card?

You can change the image on your Suncorp Bank Personalised Card as often as you like. Each time you request a new image on your card the $15 fee will apply.

What if my Personalised Card image is rejected?

Suncorp Bank will reject an image if it does not meet our Personalised Card Image Guidelines or if it is in breach of a third party's copyright.

If we send you an email advising that your image has been rejected, your new Visa Debit or basic transaction card will be issued with the standard Suncorp Bank card design. You will not be charged a photo card fee for a rejected image. Standard fees apply for lost, stolen or reissued cards.

If you supply a rejected Image Reference Number, a Visa Debit or basic transaction card will be issued with the standard Suncorp Bank card design.

Will my existing transaction or Visa Debit or transaction card number, terms and conditions or PIN change once I request a Personalised Card?

No. Personalising your Personalised Card changes the appearance of your card only. Your card number, account number, PIN (if one is loaded), Suncorp Bank Personal Deposit Account Product Information Document and the Terms & Conditions for Suncorp Bank Personal Deposit Accounts and Continuing Credit will not change.

Will retailers accept my Suncorp Bank Personalised Card?

Yes. Your Suncorp Bank Personalised Card works just like other Suncorp Bank Visa Debit or transaction cards. If a retailer doesn't recognise it, just explain that it's just a new way to personalise your Suncorp Bank card.

What is the maximum provision for customer name on the transaction card?

A Visa Debit card has provision for 19 characters and a standard transaction card has provision for 26 characters (including title and spaces).

Will my card come with a chip on it?

You may have noticed a square blocked out on the card design template. This is where Chip technology will be embedded in your card. This only applies to Visa Debit cards issued from December 2009.
