Nationally renowned emotional resilience expert, Dennis Hoiberg, together with business advisor, Sonia Chalk will tour Central and North Queensland communities in December, to provide practical advice to local residents, courtesy of Suncorp Bank.
The free community events are the latest in Suncorp Bank’s agribusiness roadshow series and are designed to deliver expert information to rural and regional areas on the financial markets, commodities, overcoming adversity and managing change.
Suncorp Bank’s Regional Manager for North Queensland, Troy Constance, said he was proud to deliver a series of events which would provide practical support and guidance to the local community.
“Suncorp Bank has been supporting Queensland communities for more than 110 years and is committed to ensuring rural and regional residents receive the support and guidance they need to run their businesses successfully,” Mr Constance said.
“The agribusiness roadshows have been designed to provide local residents with the opportunity to engage with high calibre speakers and ask questions about how to best manage personal and business challenges, change and opportunities.
“We know change is a constant and there are many things beyond anyone’s control, but it is important to be kept well informed and understand what you can control in order to build a plan to best deal with change and capitalise on the opportunities that present themselves.

For more than 30 years, emotional resilience specialist, Dennis Hoiberg has supported families, farmers, businesses and communities through enormous amounts of change and challenges and was an integral part of the recovery programs during the Queensland floods and Victorian bush fires.
Sonia Chalk, Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers is passionate about supporting family businesses and has more than 20 years experience assisting them in realising and discovering their potential.
“Dennis and Sonia are both widely renowned specialists and share Suncorp Bank’s passion for supporting regional communities,” Mr Constance said.
