Suncorp Bank today raised the customer-service bar for banking in Brisbane, when it opened the doors to its new customer-centric, digitally inspired branch on Edward Street, Brisbane.
Suncorp Bank Regional Manager Brisbane, Brad Steele, said the branch’s interactive format and technological conveniences respond to a shift in consumer behaviour by combining digital capabilities with personalised service.
“As the industry, technology and consumer behaviour continues to evolve our customers are increasingly choosing to engage with us via multiple channels,” Mr Steele said.
“The Edward Street branch, equipped with industry-leading technologies, allows our customers to complete their banking needs when and how they want to.
“The interactive self-service format provides customers with the option to bank with us at a time suitable for them. It also enables our branch team to deliver individual support to help our customers with their more complex transactions.
“Customers appreciate the flexibility of all-day access, and the 24-hour lobby offers a range of secured features including intelligent deposit ATM, a coin counting machine and cash exchange machine.
“During the design process, we monitored existing layouts to determine customer behaviours within a branch. We also trialled a range of digital capabilities to ensure our technology infrastructure achieved our customer’s individual needs.
“Additional features include a suite of tablets and iPhones to give customers access to our award-winning digital platforms. iPads wall-fitted at children’s heights in meeting rooms to keep kids entertained and phone charging stations to help customers stay connected while they’re on the go.”
The latest addition to Brisbane’s thriving financial hub is located on the corner of Edward and Adelaide Street and is open 9.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am – 5.00pm on Fridays.
