Bulls Masters to tour Central Queensland

14 September, 2015

Central Queenslanders will have the opportunity to meet some of Queensland and Australia’s cricket greats this week, when the Bulls Masters tour Gladstone from 17 – 20 September, supported by Suncorp Bank.

While on tour, the Bulls Masters, including former Queensland captain Jimmy Maher, Ryan Harris, Andrew Symonds and former State of Origin great Trevor Gillmeister, will visit the Suncorp Bank Gladstone Branch for a free community autograph session on Friday, 18 September from 2.30 – 3.30pm.

Suncorp Bank Regional Manager for Central Queensland, Tom Troy, said he was proud to host the players in town and provide an opportunity for the local community to meet some of the country’s premier players.

“As Australia’s leading regional bank, we are proud to support a not-for-profit initiative that contributes long lasting benefits to regional Queensland and promotes the importance of healthy and active living,” Mr Troy said.

“Many of Australia’s best sportspeople have come from regional areas, and the Bulls Masters’ tours do a great job at inspiring the next generation of sporting greats. It’s important to foster and nurture the talent here in Gladstone to ensure children have the best opportunity to achieve their full potential.”

In partnership with Suncorp Bank, the Bulls Masters will donate a signed cricket bat and Sunwise Tent to the Gladstone Junior Touch Football and Gladstone Western Suburbs Swimming Club at the free community autograph session on Friday, 18 September.
