What Happens After I Apply?

So that you know what to expect when you apply for a home loan with us, we've put together some information about the steps we go through in processing your home loan, and when you'll hear back from us.

Step 1: We Receive

Once we receive your application and all required documentation, it can take up to three working days for a decision to be made. In this time, we will advise you if a valuation on the property is required. If a valuation is required, or we require further information, our decision may take a bit longer.

Step 2: We Issue

On approval of your loan application, your loan documentation will be issued, and sent out to you.

Step 3: You Sign

Once you receive your loan documentation, sign it, and return it to us. We need this signed documentation back so that we can finalise your loan processing/arrangements.

Step 4: You Advise

Three working days before settlement, you will need to advise us of the cheque details that you will need at settlement. This includes information such as the final amount, and payee/s that the cheques need to be made out to.

Should I consider a pre-approval?

A pre-approval for your home loan can give you added peace of mind when you're looking for a new home or investment property. When you find that perfect place, let the real estate agent know that you have pre-approval on your finances, and it may work in your favour! And if the house you love is going to auction, arranging a pre-approval before auction day could allow you to bid with more confidence.
